A Friend I'll Always Have

As my shadow slips into darkness, where the sun is never found,
But I feel a sudden comfort,
When I feel the sun's rays kiss my cheek,
Along with a figure emerging out of the shadows,
That will always walk beside me,
Until it slips away into the shade,
To disappear over and over again.
