-The Earth that we have been given
A gift from the Lord above
A blessing to care for
To look after and to love.
-We graciously took this gift
And from it we grew roses and thorns
We grew food for all living beasts
All was beautiful, but now mankind mourns.
-At present, pollution is increasing
And the dust bites the heel
Even the weeds will wither under the sun
And taking a step back makes it so real.
-But how many of us really care?
Is it enough to take a stand?
Can we really make a difference now?
Or is it too late for man?
