The waves crashed,
As they rose higher my surfboard followed,
The waves thrashed,
They carried me underneath
It carried me into the depths and beneath,
The wondrous ocean let me breathe,
I took in my surrounding,
A castle built of shimmering coral,
A dolphin was about to give me a ride,
SPLAT! The ocean slapped me back onto the shore,
I opened my eyes, hoping to see the sight before,
My surfboard lay beside me; as dry as ever
The ocean thought I had seen enough of its secret,
Disappointment filled me,
If only I could stay there forever,
It would have been a dream come true!
