Finalist in the 'Horizon of Dreams 2018' competition
Trapped am I,
in cage of bright heat, red light.
Run, Climb, Fly
Know you not that I am King of the flyers- see me run through fluffy, soft grass,
see me fly through air so fresh, see me jump through bushy trees.
Scared am I,
in cage of bright heat, red light.
Leap, Sweat, Burn
Know you not that my heart is a forest- run with me over rivers so cold,
fly with me through nice green leaves, jump with me over young green bushes.
Ash am I,
in cage of bright heat, red light.
Shout, Whisper, Cry
Know they not that my heart runs wild- Seeking my fluffy soft family,
The arms of the trees.
Sleep now. Hear the leaves chatter, the wind console.
Sleeping am I.
