From purple to green
Hides and appears
Tricky to see
Beady weird eyes and
Flickering tongue
A blistering rock
Your seat in the sun
Crawly bug, tasty for you
Flying thing… eat that too
Screams from above
Time to hide
Stay still, prepare
Time to leave… your tail there!
Snatched and off into the blue
Screamers dinner is… gulp!
