I am odd, I am lonely
I wonder what others think of me
I hear people laughing at me
I see what I’ve become
I want to be fixed
I am odd, I am lonely

I pretend I am normal
I feel that I am different
I touch my heart and wish for friends
I worry I shall never be like you
I cry for friends to be by my side
I am odd, I am lonely

I understand I scare you
I say “never give up, keep on going”
I dream a day that I am strong
I try hard but it’s not enough
I hope for a happy life
I am odd, I am lonely
