Illuminated like stars
in the inky black sky
were the dreams
of those who lit them
merged with the reflection
of the heavens
buzzing sounds
fall silent
as it floats into the far distance
faded with a prayer
of gratitude and love
sprinkling in the dark
with a burst of light
autumn orange
on a summers night
