Once a kite was flying in the air,
When a violent wind caught it and it soared into a tree,
The boy who was handling the kite knew just what to do, for he had a pack of mint’s a hair brush and a book,
First he chewed the mints so they were very sticky,
Then he got the scrap book and made a strong rope,
He got one sticky minty and tied it to one end of the rope,
Then he got another and did the same on the other end,
He glued one side of the rope to the bottom of the tree with the kite in it and the other end high up in a tree without
the kite in it,
Then he climbed up the other the other tree without a kite in it, he sailed down the rope with the heavy hair brush in
his hands,
Now he climbed up the other tree, grabbed the kite and went back down to the rope,
But there was no rope to sail down there was only one going up!
