The puddles are as clear as the morning sky
The leaves crunch under feet like crackers.
The birds chirp from their branches like car alarms
And they dance like their feathers fall off their backs.
In the distance, the stars twinkle as bright as diamonds
Soon, the lamps turn on and it is time to go home.
The kids leaves the park, one by one
Leaving a trail of footprints behind.
They will be back tomorrow, ready to play same more
Convening these prints with fresh new trails.
