“Ohhhh and another win from Kevin as the legend crosses the finish line. Nothing can stop him now!” The commentators voice reverberated through the speakers.
Suddenly, Kevin jolted. “Ahhhh. Another one of those deplorable dreams. I need to go to a doctor or something like that.”
SMASH!
“What the hell was that? Why is there screaming. Hang on, that’s mum screaming. What’s wrong?” Keven yelled to his mum.
“The house, it’s – it’s – it’s been vandalized by stupid crooks. Go and chase them down while I catch the cops! Go go go go go!” Mum yelled to Kevin.
“Ok, see ya!”
It was Kevin’s time to shine. He’d dreamed of being as fast as the Flash since he was young. He bolted out of the house and sprinted to chase the crooks down. When suddenly, a brittle snap like a twig.
“My leg!”
Kevins hopes and dreams came crashing down.
