I’m forced to run for your sporting fun
And if I break a bone, I get overthrown
You put money on me, all I want to do is flee
Escape the horrible race and live at a slower pace
Is my life just a toy to you until I fail and fall through?
Nothing but abuse and strife, far from a relaxing life
I didn't choose this path, fine line 'tween joy and wrath
Why am I a sporting bet, not a loving household pet?
It's just a sport you say, yet unwanted pups are put away
You see a business not a friend, discarded at a losing end
Stop the cruelty.
