Painful Poppies

We represent the soldiers, who gave up their lives to fight.
The ones that traveled throughout the day and fought during the night.
We've wiped away their tears, we have heard their silent cries.
We've seen all the blood and misery, we've read their shining eyes.
We've been with them all along, all the times high and low.
Now we're standing tall and proud, and in Flander's Fields, we grow.
