I am a ghost
Am I here?
Who can tell
The only thing that separates us
Is that I am closer to death
I am scared of the unfeeling death
So too, am I scared of the feeling life
So then, what solution can be offered?
I do not have the courage to die, nor the resolve to live
Thus, I float
With the cold, unfeeling void of death
And the conscious, callous cruelty of life
An apparition toeing the line
Separating this world and the next
A stranger to the living
An heir to the dead
But a ghost nonetheless
