Take A Deep Breath

It’s a fact that our world is constantly heating up,
And all of our resources are beginning to burn up.
We don’t care to stop or think of what we’re doing,
While all this chaos is constantly brewing.
The forests on fire, the trees alight
All of the animals perished in fright.
Yet this doesn’t matter, in this small world of ours,
And once we destroy this world, we’ll simply move on to Mars.
Think of the chaos, our world of destruction,
Why is it that everybody needs instructions
On what not to do and where not to go,
It seems to me that all that we know
Is the scent of fire, the sight of a death,
Once in a while we should take a deep breath
And look at this world and what we need to conserve,
Only then will the beauty of this world be ours to observe.
