I am a demon
Everything I touch turns to flame
I see the animals flee for their lives
I hear the trees crack as they fall

I am a devil
I wonder if I will ever stop
I see the sky turn orange, red, black
I hear the people choke on the smoke

I am a bushfire
I am the cause of this destruction
I see the fear and the loss
I hear the screams and the cries

I am extinguished
I am no more
I see the relief as the clouds gather
I hear the rain finally fall
