Take The Blame

Pandemic, disaster, sorrow. Whose fault is it tomorrow?
Life has been taken for granted, minds turned so narrow.
This period of social isolation, distancing the whole population;
But can't you see it's from our own miscalculation.
Outnumbered, that is how we feel,
Ignorance, denial of what is real.
We blame everyone but not ourselves,
Now is the time to look inside the shelf.
Since when has this paradise been filled with malevolence?
Injustice, dishonesty and violence.
Humanity, even though promised with happiness,
Abused the power with all relentlessness.
Let us stop this thing called hypocrisy,
It only makes the world corrupt and ugly.
Learning from our past mistakes is never too late,
Take the blame now, don't leave everything to fate.
