Lavender Season, fresh in bloom,
When one pops up, the others do to,
Wandering ‘round I see a case,
Open it up! Let’s see what it takes.
Inside the small, brown, dull suitcase,
The finest lavender flowers, picked fresh, from the meadow,
We picked them up and took a deep breath, and took a whiff of the fresh flower smell
Then, the sun bobbed down, and the moon said hello,
The lavenders slept, upon themselves,
Hoping we’ll be here next year
