A little drip

On a farm not far from where you live,
Lived Grandma Annie and baby Steve.
One day thunder crashed and lightning struck,
The barn flew open, chickens flew and clucked.
But tucked in a corner pushed to the side,
A little drip grew yet had nothing to hide.
The puppy went missing and Tiger Puss too,
And still in the corner a little drip grew.
In the corner water started to gush.
But then the drought came and there was nothing but dust.
The bath would not run, the toilet wouldn't flush,
Soon the family started to fuss.
Thet knew in their heads they needed a drink,
So off they all went to the kitchen sink.
They got their cups and turned on the tap,
But no water came out, how about that.
