Game of hide and seek they say
Here I come, ready or not
Hid, only to be found lamented with a pool of tears with his clothes drenched
His soul, leaving its petite body, and the numbness entering ours
Aunty, aunty, aunty its ok, but who was I kidding?
He was looking out to the sky, showing signs
We told you not to go outside, why, why, why?
But there was a black hole that grew more powerful with every social snub
It threatened to swallow every part of me, bad and good,
until all that's left was a human shaped shell too numb to feel the pain
After the long days of being feeling alone, the pain ebbed
sadness comes as a painful cleanse
Tingles of warmth that spread to all parts of my heart
So dear cousin,
Some day we shall meet again
But for now, this is my final goodbye
