Reflecting on the desolate space of man
The incomprehensible definition, the impossible existence
The supernatural ability to live and surmise.
Of atoms encompassing lifeforms; of defining chemical reactions
Functions that comprise what it means to be “alive” -
But it is more than atoms and elements that create humanity.
White noise and vacant space within a hollow cranium
Constellations and galaxies conjoining into one; a single living mechanism
Behind fluttering eyelids, a universe is chaotically born.
And when that galaxy implodes upon its own weight
Where shall the dust that lingers claim to be its new home?
To the moon and to the heavens; to the flaming infernos down below
These secrets of the human universe, the earth shall never know.
