Young or old change is what we chase.
Beautiful souls from every type of race.
All left with little or no trace
Covered and manipulated to think our opinions take too much space.
Physical contact let go of his arm.
The system withheld my calm.
Fast breaths, slow breaths, no breaths, another child exposed to death.
Behind open walls abusing their powers.
Mothers having to place flowers on sidewalks without closure.
News outlets focusing on the wrong exposure.
Accusing innocent minds while the real suspect is cruising.
All these beautiful souls each day we're losing.
These issues occurring no matter who we are choosing.
All these global issues but the people of power remain distracted.
All of our lives dramatically impacted.
Young or old change is what we chase.
