A Dream

Darkness falls,
I enter my little world.
My happy place where adventures begin,
My tiny friends welcome me in.
But then suddenly a giant star takes over the moon,
Telling me that I need to get home.
I hear a high pitched beeping noise as I open my eyes,
“Doctor! Doctor, she’s still alive!”
The doctor comes in with a grin on his face,
Guess I had been in a coma state.
I decide to go outside but there’s nothing to see,
The world has demolished, plants, flowers, trees.
The seas have risen, this world has become a prison.
There’s no birds chirping, no dogs barking,
The sky is black and there’s no going
