Four police officers broke through a house in Carnarvon to rescue the 4 year old Cleo Smith. The young Smith had been abducted from the blowholes campground near Carnarvon 18 days ago.

Details

After 18 days of anticipaton, Cleo Smith was found in her own suburb of Carnarvon in a 3 -bedroom property in the wee hours of the morning on November 3rd. A 36 yr old man who was named Kelly had kidnapped Cleo Smith was heard shouting “sorry” as he was being dragged by the police, leaving behind a small trail of blood. Cleo was found in one of the rooms and was thankfully alive and well. She was taken to the hospital for further examination.

Witness Statement

The neighbour next door reported that in the hours of the morning, he was woken up to loud screams and banging on the door. The police spokesperson stated that “this wasn’t a tip of but a combined investigation done by the police going through telephone records.

Conclusion

Cleo has been reunited with her family and Kelly has been taken into custody for questioning.No one has been awarded the 1 million dollar reward as it was the police effort that led to Cleo’s discovery.
