Keeping The Peace

We quickly march through the darkness,
Our heads hung low,
None of us want to be murderers,
But orders must be followed,
We must ‘keep the peace’.

Russians are misrepresented,
Everyone fears war and death,
We know that killing is wrong,
But we must follow orders,
Or we will lose our families
We must ‘keep the peace’.

We respect our western neighbours,
They’re kind, loving people,
We like its grand ancient buildings,
It heavies our hearts to tear it apart,
But we must ‘keep the peace’.
