A Donkey Dinner

Donkeys dining on delicious dumplings
rather than Dinky Di pies.
The refined donkeys are debating whether
Dinky Di pies are dainty or disgusting.
“Delightful but rather dull,” a disturbed donkey said.
“I disagree, it is quite delicate and divine,”
defended Dr Daniel Douglas Dean.
“Disgraceful, utterly disgraceful,”
disagreed the Duke of Denmark.
“Dinky Di pies are as drab as my dirty dungarees”, despaired the Duke.
“You are all ditzy delinquents! Dinky Di pies are delectable and digestible,”
disputed the Duchess.
“Don’t go on! I detest all of these for dining and dessert,”
declared Daisy Doyle Damocles of Denver.
And so, the donkey dinner did end.
