Earthquake

Crash crack crumble,
Cathedrals topple entire.
Smash bam rumble,
Upon the Ring of Fire.

A woman screams and people run,
The ground bounces up and down.
Barley survived that hungry night,
As King Earthquake takes his crown.

Next day lost loved ones in a rubble sea,
No home, parents or sibling for me.
I begin to weep when someone creeps,
A volunteer worker starts to sweep.
