I am bobbing on the sea,
A well-deserved rest,
When out of the waves comes a child in a safety vest.
I flap frantically,
Finding a place to call “Land Ahoy”,
When, there it is!
A little orange buoy.
When I finally lower myself down,
I remember one thing,
My belly is rumbling and I look quite thin.
I soar to the beach,
Looking for some chips,
When a lady looks away and calls to her dog Kip,
I nip a particularly large chip.
As the lady shoos me away,
I think, ‘I’ve scored the jackpot today’.
