In my garden sunshine, the adroit rosellas twitter,
Dragon flies above the placid pool, hover, flitter.
Brilliant and bold Jacaranda flowers,
Delicate gum tree blossoms display their creator's powers.
In my garden sunshine, the bush looms from behind,
It envelopes this patch of land that so occupies my mind.
Cockatoos soar in from high to form a gleeful crackle,
The clouds above slip in to steal some fun as kookaburras cackle.
In my garden sunshine, I find myself restored,
I promise to remind myself small beauties should not be ignored.
Dusk has come to settle, now the red sky falls,
Forever my garden sunshine, I'll listen when it calls.
