A friend…a friend to me, is a gift of the most precious gold
The stronger part of me, that keeps me alive.

A breath of fresh air when your world has been dark for so long,
The warmth of a hand enclosed in yours. A friend is a hero.


A friend is someone to count on, to lean on,
To cry on.

A friend is the light in a dim future
Someone to guide me through life
To share their spirit so I know they’re there
To hold my hand
To take my worries and cares

A friend helps me live life, to do what I believe
The strength behind the drive that pushes me through,

My deepest problems, my times of despair
I’m pleased to know, that someone,

Will be there.
