A dream

When the sun went down,
and day turned to night.
I fell asleep without making a sound,
as my dreams began to take flight.

I dreamt that there was no pain and sorrow,
only love to share,
and hope for a better tomorrow.
I dreamt that everyone could care.

When I woke up from my dream,
I looked at the world around me.
People were beginning to work as a team,
life was everything I dreamt it to be.
