The dog all alone
The dog without a house
The dog without a home.

I am at the pound.
The pound, yes, the pound
I am at the pound
Because I am all alone.

The dog that’s all alone
The dog without a house
The dog without a home
My last owners left me
Left me, yes, left me.
My last owners left me
Left me all alone.

I am the dog
The dog that’s all alone
The dog without a house
The dog without a home
New people are coming.
Coming, yes, coming.
New people are coming
I am now not alone
but . . .
I am the dog

For I am the dog
They left all alone

Because I am so alone.

For someone now loves me
