It was a normal day. Mum woke me up early today. Suddenly, my baby brother started crying.
“I want my teddy! Amit, get me my teddy!”
Oh, not again! He always tucks it somewhere! I looked all over the house and finally found it lying in the dirty clothes basket.
“Girls, let’s go,” my mum called to me and my sister. She put my brother in the pram and we started walking.
We walked for quite a while, my mum and sister chattering away, my brother singing to himself. Suddenly, I fell into a very deep hole in the ground. “Amit, where are you?!” I heard someone shout.
Oh no! Will I ever get out of here?
When I pulled myself together, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
“Don’t worry,” a funny voice said, “I will help you!” I turned around and saw a very odd looking mole.
“Follow me!” the mole said, “I’ll get you out of here!” I followed the mole through small, dark tunnels.
“Who dug this place?” I asked. The mole stopped walking and turned around.
“What do you mean ‘who’? Me of course!” It said.
Suddenly, the roof of the tunnel started to collapse.
“Help! Get me out of here!” I started to scream. I tried to dig my way out when….
“Wake up, sweetie!” I heard another voice. It was my mum.
“It was just a bad dream!” She said. That dream felt so real!
Lucky it was only a dream!
