One bell, one lamp,
By the steeple case.
Giving meaning, giving sound
Just like a little race.
What meaning? What sound?
I hear you say.
The sound of victory,
In sweet summer May.
There’s nothing sweet about summer,
What victory is there to be had?
What’s so special about May?
Nothing there but an Iron clad.
No iron nor clad.
Just a field of flowers,
With its own shape and size
And each row falling down like showers.
