Everyone dreams of their prince charming
Everyone dreams of their own fairytale
Everyone dreams of the puppy in the window

Why is this so?

We are brought up to love lullaby's
We are brought up to love fairy tales
We are brought up to love imaginary friends

Why is everything we loved or dreamed of something that doesn't exist?

Because we need the reassurance
Because we want that glimpse of hope
Because deep down we know...
Nothing could ever be that perfect

Do we ever get our prince charming?
Do we ever get that puppy in the window?
Do we ever get our own fairytale?

There's nothing wrong with a dream..

..Right?
