The shopping trolley wheels squeaked as Mary pushed the trolley around another corner.
"Mum can we buy this?" asked Jacob.
Mary looked at what Jacob was pointing to. "No Jacob, we have got enough cereal at home." Mary continued to push the trolley into another aisle.
"Hey Mum, look at this!"Jacob came running down the aisle towards Mary. "Can we get this"? Jacob held up a box of biscuits and looked at his mum with pleading eyes. Then added, "pleeease?".
Mary looked at the box, but before Mary could say anything Jacob yelled in excitement. "Look Mum, you can win a prize!" Jacob read the back of the box aloud. "You and five friends could win free tickets to go to Paint Ball Extreme! Tickets valued at $100 each!! Special tickets found in box." Jacob looked at his Mum.
Mary sighed, "Alright".
"YES!" Jacob jumped with joy; he only wanted the box for its prize.
"I hate to disappoint you Jacob."
Jacob looked up from the box to his mum.
"People hardly ever win these things, so don't get your hopes up."
But all Jacob said was "I know."
As soon as Jacob got home he ripped open the box of biscuits. Jacob looked in the box and sighed. He tipped the biscuits into a comtainer and went to put the empty box in the rubbish but it bounced off the side of the bin and six golden tickets came tumbling out. "WOO HOO!" Jacob yelled excitedly. "Mum we won, we won!" Jacob was so happy. Mary looked at the tickets in Jacob's hand and smiled.
The next day Jacob arrived at the Paint Ball Extreme Centre along with his friends. "This is going to be AWESOME!"
