Oblivious

My heart pounded as I stepped in and I just realised what I had done.
I wiped the sweat off my forehead and spotted blood on my hands.
I tried to hide my wrist but as people walked past they saw tears welling up in my eyes.
The pain was excruciating though I handled it.
All of a sudden, I stumbled and felt my eyes close and my palms were all sweaty.
I fell back as a young man held me up and asked me if I was alright, with my eyes half open I saw him. I felt a sensation and wanted to kiss him.
My eyes and tongue rolled back and my arms and legs went into a spasm. I then hit the hard floor with bang.
Besides the pain, all I could feel was a warm liquid build up in my mouth and watched it make a red stain on the floor.
I breathed heavily and thought I would black out soon.
I am still conscious but couldn’t feel the lower part of my body.
I shake uncontrollably every few seconds. My heart slowed down as I took my last few breaths.I felt sleepy and drowsy.
It was silent, everyone held their breaths, except the young man who kept saying ,
“Tell me your name, squeeze my hand. Answer me!”
His voice broke on the end of the sentence.

“ I love you, you know that I do. I love you, only you”
“No, YOU DON’T, You let me go. YOU promised to stay. To be with me!” I cried.
He shoke his head and went to hold my hands.
”NO!!” I screamed. “DON’T TOUCH ME! I don’t trust you”
We paused, I tried to stand as I felt a little jab in my hand. I frowned.
“Who’s touching my hand?”
“What?’”
I woke up, looking at my hand I realised no one was there. I could see only one couch. The walls are a light yellow. The single bed is uncomfortable, a bench had a tray on it with a cup of water.
I got up and walked into a reception area.
Out of nowhere, a bed was rushed in, followed by doctors and nurse, dashes right into me, but no one sees me.
“Excuse me” I tapped a nurse on the shoulder. Nothing
“Excuse me” I raised my voice. Nothing.
She then moves away, to reveal a stationery blond, short figure who looks much like me.
I thought it would my twin sister, Elise.
But she walks in, sobbing and screaming.
“ Where is she?”
I am so confused. Why did she run to the bed?
“PAMELA!” She looked at the figure as tears dropped.
“Wake up ……. WHY WONT SHE WAKE UP?! DO SOMETHING! YOU FOOL!!!!”
As doctors obeyed, I screamed “ELISE”. She Looked at me and slowly moved her eyes. I smiled.
“Pam, is that you?” she mumbled.
“Why can’t anyone see me?!”
“Pam, your dead”.
