The Everlasting Hope

I know there is no reason to fear.
But with water,
My eyes do run.
And my face has become,
Reddened with many pains.
For now I know,
But of all my gains only one remains.
And that is the day when,
We will meet again.
From that day when I lost you,
I thought that was the last time,
That I would see you.
For I had but one hope,
So with a last smile I say…
Good bye and I’ll see you again
Some other day!
