Along Haystack’s golden fields
Grain grows, no better yield
To destroy all this would be insanity
A thorn in our humanity.
In Africa the people starve
A massive problem on the large
While they all starve
We burn the air
The world will tip into despair.
They dig and dig and dig for coal
Until they’ve got an empty hole
They fill it in and go away
A barren field far from today
And here we’ll stand in filth and grime
It must be stopped while there’s still time.
So please listen Ms Bligh
We need our sorghum, wheat and rye.
