Under The Velvet Moon

on a night that has forgotten to dawn,
a silver flame scorches the sky,
like a candle lit by a gentle flame,
bound within darkness and before my eyes,
a sleepless moon does lie,
a spell so sweet a melody so pure,
dancing under the velvet moon once more.
