Family means lots to most,
but it's not something everyone can boast.
The feeling of comfort and love,
Nothing can come further above.

Growing up as a child,
parts of it can end up wild.
Having one is oh so vital,
the word family is only a title.

Your family sticks with you for ever and ever,
If you're stupid, dumb or even clever.
When you're young it's very close to you,
less as you get older, but still there too.

It's important and means lots to most,
it never leaves you but can become a ghost.
Family is what it's called,
but what it is, means so much more.
