Death Poem

Death Poem
Death is such a shocking thing.
The joy it takes, the tears it brings.
The clouds above me cry.
It was too early to say goodbye.
I remember how strong and smart you were.
Life now is just a blur.
Without you here to comfort me,
The good part of life I just can’t see.
If you could just stay another day,
Oh the things I’d like to say.
I’d like to thank you for all you’ve done.
The secrets we shared and all the fun.
Your death ruined my life.
It’s like someone took a knife,
And plunged it in the middle of my heart,
For life’s not life when were apart.
