Lets Move On

Remembering her past,
tears well in her eyes.
Her life is filled with bitterness,
and too many lies.

She longs for relief and sympathy,
but they don't come her way.
Feeling more disheartened,
she slides further away.

Feeling alone,
she sits in silence.
Thoughts fill her mind
with a noxious essence.

She feels like she is falling,
she wishes for the pain to be gone.
But there is no point in recalling,
for it is time to move on....
