Waking up every day
Getting ready to work and play
Walking through the big school gate
Hoping you’re not really late
Making sure you have all your stuff
Facing bullies who are big and gruff
Getting ready to go outside
Eager to play on the big, blue slide
Going back to do some work
Other kids just going berserk
Lunch time is coming near
The big bell chiming is all you can hear
Now it is time to go home
Sitting in my room all alone
Doing my homework!
