Raven Death

Today I die a lonely death
With ravens circling around my head,
An axe sways and clatters to the ground
Then I hear a frightful sound.
As the executioners hobble towards the deck
A noose is wound around my neck,
All valuables are taken from my home
And the rest is burned till there is none.
The crowd cheers …….
And I see my mother sobbing in the corner
But I fear no one is here
To save me from a Raven Death
