Misssing You

As tears fall from my eyes
I get ready to say my last goodbyes
I will never get to hold you in my arms again
I feel nothing but sadness and pain


I thought our life was planned out as perfect can be
Why did god have to take you away from me?
Every time I was there by your side
I felt nothing but love and pride


This is the hardest thing I have come across yet
As you pass away in my arms, I hope you have not one regret
You meant the world to me
You made me a better person I guarantee


As I continue my life knowing your not there
I hope this experience of loss will make me more aware
That life is a precious thing we all need to cherish
Because before you know it, it will be over and your life will perish.
