Green intelligent eyes, no heart can embrace the affection felt.
Unimaginable beauty equal to a newborn tiger
both in spirit and corporeal alike.
Hypnotized, as the pulsating purr surrounds me,
unable to break glance, all but smile at my precious companion
Now eyes closed, gone forevermore.
What anger I felt, sorrows I suppressed, unable to hold within
the dragon of life flew out of me, nothing left but a shell.
Savage fiends a pair much alike, ravenous for murder.
Though canine in figure, true depraved demons at heart
An erroneous fatal journey over boundary fence, never to return.
Abruptly it was over, the eyes stared, colour fading life gone.
Leaping, running with joy, a gust of aromatic scents:
wildflowers, daisies, tulips, lilies, roses, irises, gerberas.
Bright yellow with rising sun, untroubled euphoric, home at last
Until we unite once more.
