One Of A Kind

He gets me out of bed in the morning and protects me form danger.
He counts on me to do the right thing.
I’ve always looked up to him in an idol kinda way.
And when he is sick I help him out
I love it when he’s as happy as a kid with a lollipop
He is the best person to play with.
I can’t imagine the day he leaves us
But as everyone does
We dread the day he’ll go
I’ve always been scared to lose my dad
I want him to enjoy life as much as I do when I’m around him.
A lot kids say that their dad is the best and all that
But I know that my dad is a one of a kind
