In the days that I entered infant school
They taught me my ABC's,
they taught me to write my name
and address,
And when to say Thank You and Please.
Then came the day for junior school,
When lessons became much harder,
I learned about History, all those dates,
Queens,and the Spanish Armada.
Now I'm ready for senior school,
With maths and laguages strange,
Science, geography,
And words to rearrange.
I'm enjoying this time of growing up
And learning the golden rule,
It's nice to be a student,
It's fun to be going to school.
