The Family Pets

My dog, cat, horse and crocodile,
All have large sparkling smiles.
They all have their own playful toys,
And last time I checked- they were boys.

I sometimes have to clean up their poo,
And sometimes I wished they lived in a zoo.
Lots of food I have to buy,
Especially for Croc, who likes pie.

What have I done? What a mistake?
I wish I had bought a lake.
They stink out the backyard,
Occasionally they can be so hard.

I can’t wait for the animal babies,
I hope they don’t have rabies.
I love it when they sleep,
I can’t hear a squeak!
