Kitty and the Golden Tulip
Once upon a time in a big magical forest lived a kitten and her family. Her name was Kitty. Kitty had a grandma and three sisters and her hard working mum.
One day Kitty’s grandma got really sick and the only cure was the rare golden tulip. Kitty’s grandma grabbed her by the arm and said, “Go to the middle of the forest and go through the water fall, but don’t be scared. There you will find the tulip.”
So Kitty went on her way. Along her way she stopped and looked at two signs, one said to go through a cave the other said to go through the forest. “I think I should go through the forest like Grandma said,” she said to herself.
Suddenly, she heard a flowing river. “I can hear the river.” Kitty started to run towards the flowing river. She stopped and looked at the river and then headed up-stream towards the waterfall.
Kitty was terrified when she saw the waterfall but she remembered what her Grandma said, “Don’t be scared.” So she quickly ran through. “It wasn’t scary after all,” Kitty said to herself. Kitty saw the rare golden tulip right in front of her so she quickly grabbed it and ran straight home.
When Kitty got home she quickly gave the flower to her mum. “It isn’t too late, is it?” Kitty asked. Kitty’s mum gave the flower to her grandma and she felt much better. “Come here Kitty. You did it for me? Thank you so much,” So the family of cats lived happily ever after.
